My research focuses on atmospheric aerosols and their impact on climate, air quality, human health, and the environment. I work on a variety of projects, some current studies include particle emissions from wildfires, particles generated from roadways and the unique chemistry of aerosols in the Arctic. I develop instrumentation and novel ways to characterize aerosol particles and deploy these instruments in airborne and ground-based studies.
Undergraduates, graduate students and post-doctoral researchers interested in joining my research group are welcome to contact me for information about current openings.
